St Vlas (Sveti Vlas) is a picturesque seaside village where beautiful beaches meet lush green mountains - perfect for enjoying glorious scenery whilst having fun on the beach.

Fully-maintained, gently sloping white-sand beaches extend for over a mile (1.6 km) on either side of Vega Village. The larger beach stretches eastward as far as the eye can see - almost from the apartment doorstep - towards the Sunny Beach resort. The second, smaller beach is a 5-minute stroll away. Both beaches have cafe-bars selling hot and cold snacks and drinks where you can refuel after beach volleyball, jetski or banana-boat rides. Alternatively, have a long cooling drink before resuming your quest for the perfect tan.

At the impressive Marina development, just 2 minutes walk from the apartment, magnificent yachts, sailing ships and fishing boats drift in and out of the harbour throughout the day. Stroll along the promenade to find top quality restaurants offering the finest cuisine for miles around, including authentic Bulgarian, Greek and Italian dishes. If you love freshly-caught fish and seafood, you won't be disappointed. In the evening, enjoy drinks to the sophisticated dance sounds of the Planet Yacht bar.

The village centre holds a good selection of reasonably priced restaurants, shops and bars catering for everyday shopping, souvenir hunting and excellent dining.

Regular bus services run from St Vlas to Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Bourgas city, as do plenty of private taxis.

Sunny Beach
- Bulgaria's largest and liveliest Black Sea resort - is just 10 minutes away by car or regular shuttle bus. There you will find 5 miles (8km) of Blue Flag golden sand beach offering a variety of water sports, cruises and ferry trips, unlimited restaurants, bars and shops (modern and traditional), aqua parks, casinos, night clubs, tennis courts, horse riding, traditional Bulgarian music and dance shows and excursions both cultural and adventurous.

Nessebar
is one of the oldest towns in Bulgaria - dating back to the 6th century BC. The old quarter, linked to the mainland by a narrow neck of land, is an architectural World Heritage site. Medieval churches, museums, preserved windmills and traditional wood-panelled houses overhang the narrow cobbled streets. Restaurants and shops abound but take a stroll outside the ancient fortified walls to enjoy panoramic views around the peninsular. You can reach Nessebar in 20 minutes by car or shuttle bus but, for a more memorable experience, take the ferry from the marina and sail across the bay into the heart of the beautiful old town.
